As predicted, Xiaomi also unveiled the Redmi 12C, the Redmi 12 series' entry-level model, alongside the Redmi Note 12 in India. It sports a 6.71-inch HD+ screen, a 5MP selfie camera inside the notch, a Helio G85 SoC, up to 6GB of RAM, and a 50MP primary camera with a 2MP depth sensor. It is also powered by the Helio G85 SoC.
The phone comes pre-installed with MIUI 13 and Android 12; it also features patterned, textured back that resists fingerprints and smudges. It has a fingerprint scanner located on the back and a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.
